I've been looking forward to this last week for years. I wanted to experience and share a totality eclipse with my kids and husband. I was missing our oldest, but he doesn't get a say, lol. (He's a Marine! 🇺🇸)

Wednesday night is date night. The husband and I have been doing that for a couple of years. It's so well known in our community that there's probably 50-75 people that ask, "Where's date night this week?" I would say, though, that the most common reaction is, "I wish I had date night every week!" It's the same sentiment I see from folks who come to the shop to have sewing done and they say some version of, "well I could do it myself..." What do sewing and date night have in common? Well nothing, except they both take intentional actions to make them happen. My passion is helping you break down sewing into bite size steps until you're doing advanced stuff and you didn't even realize how you got there. If you use social media, you're likely to remember the day that Facebook broke for a whole day and when it was over, it was a domain problem that caused them to rebrand as Meta. For business owners, that day was a HUGE wake up call that if all your eggs were in the Facebook basket, it was a BAAAAD plan. That happened around 2 years ago and this last fall, Facebook woke up with a vendetta against MemberVault. Let me tell you about MemberVault. Erin and Mike Kelly are an absolute Power Couple! Erin is the CEO of MemberVault, a course platform that is a living entity. They are customer service oriented, and they support people like me to be able to have the website situation that I do so I don't have to be a web developer. Erin is the strategic and Marketing Genius and Mike is an absolute wizard at web development. They've hired people to help along the way, but for the most part, this couple has built a formidable website and course platform that contends with the likes of Teachable, Kajabi, and the other big names in course creation land. Why am I telling you this? Well, when Facebook decided to target the thousands of us that use MemberVault for our digital homes, Mike, being the wizard that he is, immediately created a different domain. It was such a quick turnaround, too, in one day he had created a totally new web address for all of us. Then he went FULL down the rabbit hole of making communities for our sites so we could have our own Group Areas to post in and use/share with our members. I've been kicking the tires on this feature and helping get it to a place where it's ready to begin using - even though the features are still very simple. I'm so excited about this. ON LEAP DAY, Mike pushed this feature out to all of our accounts and it's developed enough to share with YOU!! There aren't any bots, there aren't any algorithms, it's all there in Chronological order (and really I think that's MUCH better). It's not quite ready for videos yet, but you can upload photos and gifs to your posts. DAYS after pushing communities live.... Facebook has had another GLOBAL EVENT this morning.
