What are Experience Points?

When you poke around our site, you earn Experience Points (EP for short). On your they appear in the top corner like this:

How else do I know how many points I have?

Inside our products, I have a little reminder for you to mark lessons as complete and that reminder message will state your totals. Those notes look like this:

How do I get points?

Great question! By showing up. By interacting with others. By marking lessons as complete or hitting "next lesson" when you're visiting a lesson you completed in the past. (By reading the help articles and hitting "next help article", too).

Why with the EP?

Well, it makes it a little more like a game. Like having fun. When you earn EP, you could top the LeaderBoard. You also can get cool discounts along the way - along with badges for completing certain things.

So, why open emails?

Our Course platform doesn't have a way to send you this info without the emails I send. The apps on your phone can send you notifications - our way of notifying you is sending emails. We all have a little bit of "out of sight, out of mind," so we send these emails to remind you that we exist, you were interested in our platform and/or you paid for a thing that you have access to over there. So, don't forget us!

Our communities are open, and for now, emails are how we let you know know that there's conversation happening. You can make posts and reply to other members, just like a FB group (without the annoying algorithms or bots).
